Fort Louis
Fort Louis is a built in 1686 by Vauban fortifications,
whose remains can still be visited. Today live in the former garrison still
about 300 people. The fortress was built in 1667 by Vauban includes a main fortress,
the "Fort Carré" and two Vorfestungen the "Fort Alsace" in Alsatian side and the "Fort
Marquisat" in the Baden shore.
