Our charming cottage is situated in the pretty little village of Fort-Louis. From here you can explore the Alsace region and the surrounding countryside, cycling, horse riding, hiking, or swimming in the nearby lake. Or you can just lounge in the garden. Alsace is an invitation to both relax and to explore, including its culinary delights, its wines, quiche and other specialties.

This lovingly renovated house is located on the outskirts of a quiet village, with a wonderful, big and very private garden. The ground floor has a kitchen-diner, living room, and shower room. The upper floor offers a master bedroom and a twin guest room. The living area is approximately 85 square meters. In bad weather you can make yourself comfortable in front of the fireplace in the living room. The house has a fitted kitchen with dishwasher, and washing machine with dryer. In the adjoining building there is a table kicker.
Surroundings
Fort Louis is special due to its location. The road through it ends at the Rhine! It then becomes the Pamina cycle path. --for exemple "Südlicher Rheinpark" (42km) or "Rheinauenradweg" (137km)--
The river Moder flows through the village, inviting you perhaps to canoe through untouched nature, still the natural habitat of many plants and animals. The rare kingfisher is at home here, and beavers have been reintroduced.
